World Oceans Day provides an opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve the Ocean. The theme for 2019s World oceans Day is Gender and Oceans. On the name of World Ocean Day celebration, The Ocean Society of India is organizing interactive session followed by beach cleaning at mararikulam beach, Kochi on 8th June 2019. Total 80 students from high school, higher secondary and college will participate in the program. In addition environmentally committed fishermen, teachers, officials from CMLRE, NPOL, NIO, members of OSI, other professionals and local people are partcipating.
